Lee-Ann Monks
Lee-Ann Monks founded Monks Communication on the basis of her unique skill set – qualifications in science, communication and public relations, combined with a wealth of experience in technical communication. She also recognises the intimate relationship between marketing, PR and communication, and works closely with many of her clients’ marketing teams.
Before establishing Monks Communication, Lee-Ann spent more than 10 years providing communication services in the fields of scientific research, agricultural production and food manufacturing. During this time she established credibility with the media and a reputation as an award-winning journalist who could explain complex topics in everyday language. Roles as a manager reporting to the board, as a QEAC board member advising at a federal level, as a consultant reporting to stakeholders, and in her early career as an extension officer working with farmers, Lee-Ann brings broad experience and professionalism to the table.
Our network
Monks Communication works within a strong network of professional communicators, including a government communications specialist, rural and science writers, sub-editors and layout specialists photographers and others as needed. This network gives us access to a talented resource pool during periods of peak demand, enabling us to provide you with a quality service, even during tight deadlines.
